information about delhi - दिल्ली भारत की राजधानी है। दिल्ली की भूमि सशक्त ऐतिहासिक पृष्ठभूमि रही है। इस विशाल साम्राज्य पर भारतीय इतिहास के कुछ सर्वाधिक शक्तिशाली सम्राटों ने शासन किया था। इस शहर का इतिहास महाभारत के इतिहास जितना ही पुराना है। काफी समय पहले इस शहर को इंद्रप्रस्थ के नाम से भी जाना जाता था, यह पर कभी पांडवो का निवास था। इंद्रप्रस्थ के आसपास आठ शहर लाल कोट, दीनपनाह, किला राय पिथौरा, फिरोज़ाबाद, जहांपनाह, तुगलकाबाद और शाहजहानाबाद बसते थे। पांच शताब्दियों तक दिल्ली राजनीतिक उथल-पुथल की गवाह रही है। दिल्ली पर खिलजी और तुगलक वंशों के बाद मुग़लों ने भी शासन किया।

information about delhi -अफगान योद्धा मोहम्मद गौरी ने वर्ष 1192 में India Gate राजपूतों के शहर पर कब्जा कर लिया था और 1206 में दिल्ली सल्तनत की नींव रखी थी। वर्ष 1398 में दिल्ली पर तैमूर के हमले ने सल्तनत का खात्मा किया और लोधी दिल्ली के अंतिम सुल्तान साबित हुए। 1526 में पानीपत की लड़ाई के बाद बाबर ने मुग़ल साम्राज्य की स्थापना की। हिन्दू राजाओं से लेकर मुस्लिंम सुल्तानों तक, दिल्ली का शासन एक शासक से दूसरे शासको के हाथों जाता रहा। शहर की मिट्टी खून, कुर्बानी और देश-प्रेम से सींचती रही। बहुत पुराने समय से पुरानी 'हवेलियां' और पुरानी इमारतें खामोश खड़ी हैं सैंकड़ों वर्षों पहले उनमें लोग रहा करते थे।
